CSCA Call for Applications/Nominations ... Communication Studies, Editor
The Central States Communication Association (CSCA) is seeking nominations for the Editor of Communication Studies, 2028-2030. The next editor is responsible for issues published in 2028; this will necessitate a transition to the editorship and training on ScholarOne starting January 1, 2027. The incoming editor is expected to start to handle manuscripts from February 1, 2027. Self-nominations are encouraged. To be considered, nominees should be housed at a program that will offer the necessary support and should be tenured.

CSCA 2027 Hall of Fame Award Call
The Hall of Fame recognizes long-standing members of the Central States Communication Association (CSCA) who have demonstrated a sustained and exemplary commitment to the discipline of communication.

CSCA - Call for Nominations – Cooper Award
The prestigious Cooper Award, named after former CSCA President Pamela J. Cooper, is presented to one M.A.-level graduate teaching assistant and one Ph.D.-level graduate teaching assistant in recognition of excellent teaching by a graduate student. At the annual convention, the recipients each receive a cash award and a certificate.

CSCA - Call for Nominations - 2027 Warren Award
The Central States Communication Association is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Warren Mentorship Award.
The award, named in honor of the late and beloved John T. Warren, recognizes a mid-career scholar who exhibits some of the many virtues John himself exuded as a mentor, scholar, and engaged member of the discipline. To that end, those who are nominated should excel in all aspects of their careers—teaching, research/creativity, service, and engagement—but first and foremost demonstrate excellence as a mentor.
