CSCA - Call for Nominations - 2027 Warren Award
The Central States Communication Association is now accepting nominations for the 2027 Warren Mentorship Award.
The award, named in honor of the late and beloved John T. Warren, recognizes a mid-career scholar who exhibits some of the many virtues John himself exuded as a mentor, scholar, and engaged member of the discipline. To that end, those who are nominated should excel in all aspects of their careers—teaching, research/creativity, service, and engagement—but first and foremost demonstrate excellence as a mentor.

2027 CSCA Call for Nominations ... Second Vice President and Executive Committee Member-at-Large Positions
Members of the CSCA Nominating Committee invite self and other nominations for Second Vice President and Executive Committee Member-at-Large positions. The Second Vice President will serve with members of the Executive Committee and will have the opportunity to plan the 2030 convention before assuming the presidency the following year. The Member-at-Large serves a two-year term on the CSCA Executive Committee, providing governance for the organization.

2027 CSCA Jack Kay Award Call for Nominations
The Central States Communication Association invites nominations for the Jack Kay Award for Community Engagement and Applied Communication Scholarship. This award honors individual communication scholars (dyads and groups/teams are not eligible) who have demonstrated a significant record of applying their work to address social injustice, inequality, intolerance, and prejudice. It celebrates a substantial body of engaged, applied, and/or activist communication scholarship. A generous gift from the Michigan Association of Speech Communication makes this award possible.

CSCA 2027 Federation Prize Call for Proposals
The Federation Prize promotes intellectual development and communication scholarship by awarding a cash prize of (up to) $5000 to selected research proposals authored by a CSCA member. If there are multiple submitters on a proposal, all authors must be current CSCA members.
