CSCA Performance Studies and Theatre Interest Group Members: Register and book hotels for CSCA in Madison now!

Dearest CSCA Performance Studies and Theatre Interest Group Members,

As you might have heard from this year's Primary Program Planner, David McMahan, we are breaking records! The annual Central States Communication Association convention has surpassed the 1,000 participants mark for the first time in our history!

This is great news, but it also means that you definitely should arrange your travel and accommodation plans now. The conference hotel is at capacity, and the hotels in close proximity are filling up fast. Here is some useful info if you have yet to book your hotel.

The last day for pre-registration (lowest rate!) is March 15th. Register now at this link.  Consider signing up for one of the many exciting pre-conference events, short courses, and seminars.

Lastly, I'd like to plug a special convention event that might be of particular interest to our members. On Friday evening there will be a reception held at the Overture Center of for Arts, that will conclude with a performance by the celebrated sketch comedy troupe The Second City!

I am looking to forward hearing about all the wonderful work being done by our Performance Studies and Theatre colleagues as well as colleagues across the discipline. This will be a memorable CSCA!

See you in Madison in April!
