Reminder: Submit to CAT for CSCA 2026 – Deadline Oct. 10

Dear CAT Members,

This is a friendly reminder that the Communication & Technology Interest Group (CAT) is accepting submissions for the CSCA 2026 Annual Convention (April 14–19, Minneapolis, MN).

👉 Submission Deadline: October 10, 2025 (11:59 PM CDT)

 Main Submissions:

• Full Papers (eligible for Top Paper, Top Student Paper, and Inclusive Scholarship Awards)
• Extended Abstracts (works-in-progress, especially encouraged for graduate students and early-career scholars)
• Paper & Discussion Panels (multi-institutional representation preferred)

Special Panel Opportunity:

In addition to regular submissions, CAT is planning a low-barrier, inclusive panel to showcase emerging tech tools (AI, data visualization, research platforms, etc.). This is a great chance for students and faculty to highlight creative practices without needing a full paper.

We welcome your contributions and especially encourage work that engages with the 2026 conference theme: Translate!
