CSCA Convention Update/Refund Schedule

Dear all,

We are ready to start processing refunds for CSCA. A special thanks to Kathie Cesa, who has worked extremely hard setting up systems in place for mass cancellations. It turns out that canceling a conference is almost as hard as setting one up.

We will start processing refunds for members first. There are two options.

We will process your refund, and you will receive payment back in the form it was paid. Credit/Debit cards will be first. Checks will take longer to process. You might consider donating your conference registration fees to our general fund. Without going into specifics at this time, we are working behinds the scenes on things like hotel issues, etc.

Please feel no pressure to donate funds. We understand these are uncertain times. Financially, we will be okay. We are just giving you this option because some members have reached out.

If you would like to donate, please email within the next two days CSCARefund@csca-net.org. Only registration fees will be refunded. Membership dues and donations will not be refunded. If we have not heard from you by Wednesday at 8:00 am, we will assume you want a refund and start processing those.

*For ads, sponsorships, and graduate fair tables, we will process those towards the end of the week and next. I hope you understand we want to get member fees taken care of first. I will be emailing you all a couple of options. That said, if you would like a refund, we are more than happy to process it.

Thanks all for your patience and grace as we sort out these issues.

As we take steps to finish up #CSCA20, I thought it would be good to provide a schedule for clarity.

Week of March 16-March 20:  Process Refunds
Week of March 23-March 27:  Process Refunds
Week of March 30-April 3:       Process Awards
Week of April 6-April 10:          Announce strategies for business meetings, program planners, etc.
Week of April 13-April 17:        All CSCA leadership and staff will take the week off.

Thanks for understanding.

Warmest regards,

Chad Edwards, Executive Director of CSCA
