CSCA 2019 Convention - Online Submission System
Hello CSCA Members:
I am so excited to announce that the new online submission system is now open! While the process to get this up and going has been longer than we anticipated, we believe this new system will help streamline the submission, review, and panel slotting process for years to come.
If you go to our website, you will find specific instructions for submitting your work. If you have submitted to other disciplinary conferences (e.g., NCA), the system will seem familiar to you. Since this system was built specifically for CSCA, this year each of us will need to create new author/submitter profiles, but once you are in our system, your profile will already be available for you in coming years.
As you have (hopefully) seen in all of the posted calls and earlier emails, the submission deadline for CSCA is a week later this year—your submissions are due Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 11:59 CST. You can find specific calls for each unit on our website under Interest Groups or in the new submission system under each unit name. If you run into any issues with submissions, please let me know,firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, I would like to specifically thank Chad Edwards, our new Executive Director, for the many hours he spent this summer in videoconferences learning about the system, testing out different versions, and thinking through all of the logistics of this new process. Also, a big thanks to all of the unit planners who have been patient with shifting timelines and thoughtful in re-writing calls for each of the units.
