Calling all Popular Culture Interest Group Members:
I am so excited about how great our programming has turned out so far this year and even more inspired by all of the amazing ideas we generated at our business meeting last night for the conference in Madison next year! Thank you all for your hard work and ideas. We couldn't do it without you!
Unfortunately, those interested in being nominated for the position of secretary were unable to attend the meeting and so we weren't able to hold the election yet. Instead we voted to conduct it via email. Between the meeting and this message Adam Tyma was nominated for the position. Before closing nominations and holding the election, I wanted to invite any other nominees to please email me IMMEDIATELY. Please know this is a three year position, which will culminate in planning our program in the final year. Please only send names of people who want to be nominated.
Nominations will be accepted through tomorrow, Saturday, April 5, at 12pm. Then if we need to hold an election, you will receive a subsequent message with the link to vote. Please send any nominations to me at jdunn@dom.edu by noon tomorrow.
