Organizer Needed for Panel
At the 2013 business meeting, one of the ideas for a panel for the 2014 conference was related to The Onion parody of communication majors. Questions raised included: What is our responsibility in helping people understand what we do? How do we “elevate” our research? How do we make difficult decisions about what we consider to be valuable scholarship and direction? This topic generated more discussion than any other. Some people have expressed interest in being on such a panel, but I have yet had anyone willing to step up and organize/lead this panel.
