Dear OPC members,
I hope this email finds you in good spirits. In case our paths haven't crossed in the past, my name is Jeremy Fyke and I am your chair and program planner for our interest group for the 2014 convention. Nici Ploeger (University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse, fall 2013) is our vice-chair.
This is a quick note to let you know that we now have a web presence for our group, via Facebook and LinkedIn. A big thank you to Peggy Fisher from Ball State for getting these pages up and running! You can find these groups by searching "CSCA Organizational and Professional Communication Interest Group". We encourage you to "like"/join those pages/groups. We'll be using them to post announcements and whatnot, but you can also use them to toss around ideas for panels or other formats for the conference. We're also looking to have a logo for our group created, so if anyone has any ideas for that or wants to create one that would be terrific. We don't have any major announcements at this time, but be mindful that the deadline for submissions is October 4, which will be here before we know it! You'll be hearing from me often as the deadline approaches, but please don't hesitate to contact me with any questions or comments (jeremyfyke@gmail.com).
