CSCA 2015 Convention - Communication Theory Interest Group

Dear CTIG Members,

We did it. We've broken a record at CSCA. We hit 1,000 participants fro a Convention. That means a lot of things.

1.  The conference hotel is full. Make lodging arrangements as soon as possible, because nearby hotels are sure to fill up soon as well.  In fact, I just booked at The Edgewater about a half a mile away, and there were only 2 rooms left there.

2.  There are some amazing short courses and seminars this year, so please sign up for them as soon as you can.

3.  The deadline for pre-registration rates is March 15.  After this date, registration goes up.  So don't delay on that. Save yourself some cash.

4. If you have ever wondered about the impact of CSCA and CTIG, please come to see  Building Beyond New Media: Discourse and Critique in a Polymediated Age on Saturday at 11:00 am-12:15pm. This panel will discuss howe the conversations we had across communication subdisciplines led to a book.  If you ever want to know the ins and outs of collaborative research, this is the panel to go to.

It is going to be an amazing time in Madison, and I hope to see you there!

Cheers!
