CSCA 2015 Convention - Performance Studies and Theatre Interest Group Members

Greetings Performance Studies and Theatre Interest Group Members,

CSCA's 2015 Convention in Madison is about two and half months away. As the semester kicks into high gear, don't forget to register for the conference and secure your travel plans.

You can find information about the conference hotel by following this link:http://www.csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/hotelreg. There is also some useful information about the local area here: http://www.csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/travel_info

We have several excellent panels planned for this year including the fine work of our Top Paper and Top Performance panelists. Also, this year we recognize Dr. Theresa Carilli as CSCA's Performance Studies and Theatre Outstanding Scholar. Additionally, we have some wonderfully interesting and eclectic panels exploring the performance of memoir, women's wisdom told through convergent writing, the convergence of performance and rhetorical theories, the collaboration of Dr. Paul Sidden's and his students for the original one act play Just Another Day in Paradise, and the performance of ecology in the writing of Gregory Bateson. Lastly, please remember to attend our business meeting. There will be more reminders to come. :-)

I'm very excited to see you all! Cheers!
