CSCA 2015 Convention -Women's Caucus Members

Hello Women's Caucus Members,

I hope everyone is getting excited about converging in Madison in a few short months!  I would like to encourage you to register for the conference (http://www.csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/convention_reg) and get your hotel plans ironed out (http://www.csca-net.org/aws/CSCA/pt/sp/hotelreg).  The conference hotel is beautiful and the rates are very reasonable.  You have to call the hotel directly to get the conference rate but they were very nice and fast when I called last week.

Please check out the conference schedule - there are so many excellent panels, pre-conference events, short courses, seminars (new this year!), and fun social events planned.  Be sure to check out the interesting and eclectic Women's Caucus panels!

The Women's Caucus is having a Spotlight panel of Wisconsin women who wrote a book called, "What She Said" (Thursday from 3:30-4:45).  The book shares stories of 30 women's experiences of empowerment and we will hear from some of these women on the panel.  Later Thursday evening (around 7pm) we will be heading to a local bookstore called "A Room of One's Own" (about one block from the conference hotel) to learn more about the book, authors, and to socialize.  Copies of the book will be available for sale and all proceeds will go to the Fund for Women.  We hope to see you there!

Let me know if I can assist you in any way!

Take care,

Jessica
